I feel that the rumors of Twitter demise are greatly exaggerated. I my opinion, on the last 5-7(?) years, the Twitter has become a platform predominantly focused on woke/progressive agenda. One of the problems with that is that people in other categories, such as liberal Democrats for example, can no longer trust a word of what is printed there. You just don’t know if these are the users that are saying something, or you are only listening to the Twitter algorithms taking to you. It’s kind of lost its value as an information source. This is all now changes. Perhaps, it could have been be done more gracefully, but, regardless, the value as an information source and a discussion platform is now being restored. This ought to be worth something…

> can no longer trust a word of what is printed there.

I think you're confusing a social media site for a journalistic news outlet. A service like Twitter is zero-trust: it's just a collection of individuals and companies that can say or promote nearly whatever they want so long as it stays within the realm of being legal and within ToS.

You might as well say that you can't trust everything you read that's hosted on on AWS.

As far as the algorithm, available evidence suggests that you're not correct about its bias:

Of course, you'll respond to this with the bog-standard conservative manifesto that evidence and researched knowledge is liberal, woke, or whatever the latest scapegoat word of the day looks like.

Who just trusts the word of random people on twitter?
Other random people on Twitter?

Doing their due diligence isn't exactly what the average social media user is known for.

Those random liberal democrats tended to follow other liberal democrats on twitter though, that explanation of Twitter's failing and salvation just isn't tracking imo.
I hope you are able to sleep at night, with all that woke shining into your room at night. Nothing is "printed there", do you think it is a physical newspaper? Twitter was an amalgamation of random people posting comments. I truly marvel at people trotting out the word woke, as if it can be applied to any category of thought or counter-belief system, that you never want to hear of or see.
