I really should get my backup strategy figured out. Recently I wanted to access a file I thought I had on my machine, but only existed on the backup drive. Apparently I've been mixing up archiving and backup!

I don't really do pirating, or porn, so my file collection is reasonable(Those two seem to be the main drivers of large hoards of data), so a small NAS with RAID redundancy might be reasonable for me.

One of these days when I'm making a bit more I'll probably look for a 2 bay NAS, or, maybe for a bit more flexibility, a USB based NAS.

Right now I'm using external hard drives for both archive and backup, but that's not very convenient for redundancy.

Stuff that is important but small goes in my SyncThing synced folders, not too worried about that since all my devices have a copy plus it gets backed up.
