Tricks we used to get our CI builds below 5M (twitter.com)

It's a Twitter thread and hopefully you'll forgive that, but contains some useful tricks we've used just this week to get our CI times down.

Before this we saw branch builds take ~8m and deploying to production up-to 14m.

Now 3-4m for a branch build, and <5m deploys to production.

Makes a world of difference for productivity and developer happiness.
