I'm sorry to hear it. I find HN a useful (though sometimes frustrating) resource, despite being completely disconnected from the business side of things. If you were hoping to get connected with the business side by joining the community and feel frustrated by invisible (but quite solid) social/economic barriers, I can see why you'd feel quite frustrated. There has always been a tension between 'hack the planet, use technology to change the world' ethos and the 'I made $1m in 6 months by monetizing kindness.'
Depending on your motivations and aspirations, the upset you feel might be an example of Promethean punishment. When I find myself feeling angry a lot on HN (whether that's a reflection of content or my own emotional state) I just stop posting for a week or two. I hope you'll come back after a break rather than just give up on it.
