It's true that all legislation has a political dimension, simply due to the fact that it's is the work product of politicians, but some legislation has a much broader sphere of interest.
All legislation affects something outside of politics, that's what they're for. But I still don't see how this fits on HN, even if it's important.
What about those SOPA articles?
SOPA is business directed because it is intellectual property law. There's a clear difference here.
Apparently is fighting an election a whole different beast than fighting an asymetric war...
