These predictions are so removed from logic and proportion that they sound exactly like some sort of code phrase (with Musk thrown in to get media traction?) — either as a text-carrier "numbers" variant, or to activate sleeper cells?

Aha, he's mocking the entire "ruble will collapse, Novosibirsk will secede, Ukrainian Special Forces will mistakenly capture Kremlin instead of Crimea" birdseed genre. That makes much more sense.
