What a journey. In a world where FPGAs are our ultimate safety net for preservation, it’s remarkable what can still be sourced for a build like this.
An FPGA isn't much more interesting than an emulator for preservation.

This makes me sad. Mostly because I thought it was already over, but the author is right and now I have to experience the end of the golden once more.

Overall though, what a wonderful project. Makes me want to take out my C64 and do some assembly in Turbo Macro Pro.
