Hi there, I built a chrome extension to grab new posts from social media.

Instagram, twitter, Pinterest, etc don't really allow for RSS so I worked on this alternative to get new posts. Hope this might be useful for some of you.

I like it at first glance but need to see more detail or play with it first before forming an opinion. But nice job keeping it simple at least makes me want to give it a go later. Definitely into the idea that better news aggregation is a good investment of time and materials. Good Luck with this !

I do something like this for my own tool ("rivus") which pulls in all kinds of socials into one feed. Makes it much faster to "monitor the culture"

"monitor the culture" - don't think I could word it any better. When FTX fell and ChatGPT got released, there was just so much to monitor to see what others are saying/doing

Okay, it’s nice, well done… but is far from be “a possible alternative to RSS”, and by the way, why we should need an alternative to RSS? RSS protocol works fine, we only need that more websites use it!
