Japan has been a slow runner in the startup race. However, the situation is rapidly changing. Part of this is because of Japanese government's initiatives to improve the startup ecosystem and part is because of changing mindsets of younger generation with improving risk appetite. This article presents some interesting statistics about startups in Japan.
