With it you can:
- 'browse' headlines. Google provides 'time' filters, but I do not like Google
- Some links are not visible in Google. It provides only 31 pages for a phrase in 'news' search
- link rot can be verified (how much of an issue it is)
- you can verify what kind of news are not delivered by some media

Reasons of existence:
- RSS does not provide archive entries
- I do not like online software like feedly, I like having local data. In this case I also upload it to github
- I think newsboat reader does not provide advanced search mechanism
