How interesting this arrives now: there is a very recent reddit post for an iPhone urine based idiot detector which says (paraphrased)
1) Put iPhone in toilet
2) Urinate on iPhone
3) Congratulations you have detected an idiot
But in reality, there's a huge amount of potential diagnostic in a urine stream and putting Elizabeth Holmes style megalomania to one side if they design a system to take replaceable diagnostic strips or similar and read them via usb there's a lot of merit in this, if it works.
They explicitly say its pending FDA approval. So.. preannounce risks are in this. "Too early to say"

[ 3.4 ms ] story [ 22.5 ms ] threadIt has cartridges that have to be changed from time to time. And it needs recharging via USB-C.
It’s an interesting idea. I’m curious to read a review or analysis of how well it works.
But I have zero interest in buying it. And it seems like some of the (100% understandable) issues above would limit it’s appeal.
