Amazon opens its Sidewalk bandwidth-sharing network to third-party devices (engadget.com)

Since we were talking the other day about Dumb / Smart TVs and how they might spy on you without ever joining your WiFi. I'm 100% sure Sidewalk will be used for this purpose (if it's not already).
