I wish they'd decouple the virtual desktops for multiple screens, just like i3 does. That would really be great to have in kwin.
I haven't seen the issues mentioned in the article but I run a desktop so my screens are always connected. I have a difficult script to deal with multi-dpi though but that's because X11 can't deal with it and Wayland KDE is broken on FreeBSD right now.
