So true. This goes for your first job as well as any side project or company you want to build.

In a nutshell: go bide your time in a master's program until conditions improve. It's what people with options do.

The problem with open-source contributions is that many projects don't have documentation and some don't even have a Slack/Discord channel where they hang out so you can ask questions. If anyone knows a well document open-source project looking for contributors please share? (has to have decent amount of stars)
