As society gets more and more taken over by "AI writing" like this, will it mean less to people? Will it be obvious to spot? This reminds me so much of a conflict I got into with my teachers back in 9th grade (1991 for me) over typing my homework vs. writing it out with good penmanship. The teachers would argue typing is cheating. My family was early adopters of computers and I thought I was learning a good skill for the future! Teachers would call my parents in and say, none of the other kids are doing this, his handwriting will suffer when he's in the job market.
Turns out they were wrong. Typing is everything now and has been for years. I wonder about today's teachers saying "little johnny is using AI to do all his writing, his writing skills will suffer when he's in the job market."
