What's with the gas stove stuff over the last few days?

The combination of the suddenness which which it has become a news topic and the high polarization potential of the topic would seen to hint at an inorganic factor at play.

There is a gas war coming with states like California, Washington, and New York actively seeking to legislate natural gas out of the energy mix, along with the Feds, and then there about 20 states with laws already on the books declaring that federal gas ban legislation will not be observed.

The rush to ban gas and gas appliances without an energy replacement seems poorly considered.
