Are there any communities working on PC builds for AI work?

Curious if how there are gamer communities focusing on best framerates in their desktop PC, are there communities or authors publishing their home builds for their AI stuff?

To a first approximation, a good gaming build will be a good AI build.

I just built a new machine with an Ryzen 9 7950X, liquid cooling, 40-series graphics card. It has all that RGB bling... I mean, I might have been able to get parts that don't have the bling but there is a supply chain crisis going on, the DDR 5 sticks I can find all have RGB, the liquid cooling system has RGB, as garish as it is, it is what is.

It seems to me that you have fewer practical choices building a machine today than before. There are only 3 expansion slots on my motherboard, the GFX card covers one of them, there is no sense in putting in a sound card when you are using an SPIDF digital out. There is not a lot of room in the case for optical drives, large hard drives, that kind of stuff. I have one spare USB 2 header, mostly I depend on the I/O on the back. The one thing I might put in the open expansion slot is a Thunderbolt 4 card but I'm not sure I really need it.

I've been wondering about this too. To what extent are people maybe just using laptops with those GPU adapter boxes? Etc.
