This is food for the slippery-slope opponents of legally assisted dying. They said at the time it would not stay in the role of end of life for terminally ill people and I guess at one remove, they were right.
I might add I think assisted dying/death with dignity is a sad, but important right, and I am glad we have it. I'm just observing that for a cohort who opposed it, their worst fears arguably have now come true.

This comes after Canadian medical workers already suggest euthanasia to disabled as solution to their situation instead normal treatment.[2] Now imagine what they would do with this murd...sorry...euthanasia for people whose sole reason would be mental illness.
