This is not stuff you should ask for without explaining a legitimate and benign purpose for the sort of explosion you'd like. For scaring pest animals you could always watch "Mythbusters" for some ideas like a flour bomb.
I'll go out on a limb and say that this question smells like testing the boundaries of HN's freedom of speech to prove some point related to the culture wars.
Thankfully technical progress means horses haven't been involved with VBIEDs in a long time. We just have to continue that trend, and get all other living creatures into the disjoint part of the Venn diagram...
