Do Facebook ads work for you?
We've hired the best marketers to create Facebook ads for our website. Unfortunately, even after spending thousands of dollars, none of the ads produced a return. What we saw was a high bounce rate and less than 1 second spent on the site. We've spoken to many people about this, and they have similar experiences. We're pretty confident that the ads were setup correctly.

[ 3.3 ms ] story [ 17.0 ms ] threadI have found you can make a return with low value, impulse buys but it was hard work and sucked time away from other projects that would have been more profitable, such as basic content marketing.
There may be some value in long term brand recognition though, really depends how much spare cash you have to throw around I suppose?
I'm only saying this because as a consumer, I bought stuff roughly a year later when I had the money, even after seeing the AD a year ago! ADs plant the seed, then sales naturally follow, albeit delayed.
