Contrary to popular conception, US law doesn't actually allow perpetual transfer of copyright outside of works for hire. I haven't read the full thing yet, but the author seems to suggest that we need legislative action to protect the FOSS framework.
In addition to software, I think termination rights need to be curtailed for tattoos. I'm definitely refusing to get any permanent ink unless I can truly own it (including in any representational media).
