I can’t help but think these articles are PR.
I continue to use AirBnB many times per year and always have better and less expensive experiences than hotels.
Maybe I’m good at selecting houses?
The key to my success might be group buys. I always go with 4+ friends so the price goes down a lot per person. I’ve done multiple trips with 10+ people and the price is super cheap given how incredibly fun these kinds of trips are.
My 3 fiends and I recently did a long weekend that had king size beds, a hot tub, beautiful kitchen, etc… all for the price of $70 per person per night…
I had to get a hotel a few months ago with a friend and a Red Roof was more expensive than that.
