It's not worth it (intentionally) and it takes a lot of work or time.

Absolutely, it's extremely useful.

I've had issues with receiving payments from customers, tweeting about it instantly resolves the problem.

Say you build a new product, service, app, whatever - how do get your first users/customers - having a big following makes a huge difference.

Yeah when releasing a product it gives you a huge edge for sure.
