I recommend you reach out to people on LinkedIn, try interviewing them, try video-calling them.... Escalate in terms of Trust offered and expected, as is the norm for hiring.

Don't shortcut hiring. Just because someone worked at Google does not mean they are a good engineer for you. They are probably more expensive too. There are plenty of quality engineers at non-FAANG orgs.
Hiring well takes effort, you will get out what you put in. Good candidates will sense this and pass on you.

Can one keep google as their past employeer on Linkedin even though they never worked there before?
