TLDR: I'm a software developer turned solopreneur & last week since I hit a revenue milestone, I felt it was better to give back to the community which helped me get this far

-----

I started from absolute zero as a software developer. After multiple failures in trying to build consumer startups, and dealing with a leaving cofounder, I became a solo founder.

I knew that I had to learn sales and marketing in order to make things work. So I began building 2 software products last year, out of which one was Famewall and it started taking off after 4 months of work compared to the other product.

I was fortunate enough to capture revenue with this product after a lot of failures. I'm pretty grateful to my customers for that.

While I'm still far away from my ideal revenue milestones, I didn't want that to stop me from helping out others :)

As a token of gratitude for my journey thus far, I thought of giving away to the community on Twitter. I stuck to Twitter because I wanted to stick to one platform and make it easy for people to post

Even though it's a small amount, I'd be super happy if it could help out anyone in any small way.

I wrote about how entrepreneurs could participate and other details here: famewall.io/grant

I got the first few participants and added them to a list.

And I've kept the event open till tomorrow to see how it goes.
