I recently faced a problem where the solution required insider information into one business segment where I have no contacts to (specifically, tourism). Is there any website where people can ask insider questions from people from other professions, not publicly?

Unlikely for free. There's an entire industry built around this premise.

The type of service you're looking for is generally called an "expert network", and as a sibling said, Alphasights is one of the biggest. Others that I have experience with as a consultant are Guidepoint, GLG, and Coleman Research.

Your experience using them will vary; they're incredibly expensive, they don't do a particularly good job of vetting the experts they find, but there is definitely some gold there.
