Patrick McKenzie (patio11) explains mainframes, bit rot, and software reliability engineering on Bloomberg's Odd Lots podcast.
By the way, Odd Lots is excellent. It's an economics podcast, but they feature interviews with a broad variety of experts on various topics. Recent guests have included a founder of electric semi-truck builder Edison Motors, the Flexport CEO, an egg farm executive, and a Federal Reserve veteran economist. The hosts are smart, and they don't dumb things down for their audience. It's become one of my favorite podcasts.
Similar interview podcasts I can heartily recommend for the same reasons are Conversations with Tyler and The Ezra Klein Show.
