Ask HN: How many store private information on online PKMS/notes service?
Such as Notion, Roam, OneNote, etc? Basically any of the services that don't offer any type of end-to-end encryption.
Among those that DO, how comfortable do you feel about knowing that they could theoretically read your notes?
Why is this accepted as a normal course of events?
I'm curious to know your thoughts, because - on one hand, I worry I might be overreacting. On the other, maybe it's valid and people in general don't put anything THAT personal or private on those services.
What do you define as private and not private information?
Do you not worry about leaking more sensitive information online?
