Meh "science bad" is a tired declaration from the far right. It's one thing to be skeptical, another to shoot down entire fields of science simply because you're rich.
He’s not saying science is bad, he’s saying it is and has been stagnant, that it’s secretly afraid of making any real progress because all the futures look dystopian.

I think the real reason Peter Thiel hates higher education is because he was able to get through one of America's top law schools without learning how to give a talk. He always looks so uncomfortable it makes me uncomfortable just watching him.
