Ask HN: Why are not internal 3D representations used in machine learning?

I am sorry my ignorance in this topic, possibly it is too cumbersome, or the data is lacking. But since most natural language is a simulation of the world, why is it not used more in conjuction with transformers or other NLP techniques?
