is Chrome recording keyboard inputs and passing them to YouTube?

Three times over the last month a striking coincidence.

I use Chrome as my browser. Google owns both Chrome and YouTube.

I can't remember the first two incidents any more, but they were on the same scale as the third incident.

The third incident: two days ago I asked ChatGPT to give me the 600 most important words in Spanish. Today, YouTube has recommended me a video titled "100 most important words in Spanish". In at least the last three months, I have not asked YouTube for a Spanish-language-learning related video.

Have you asked any Google property for anything Spanish related?
Your point is good.

I seem to remember, after ChatGPT gave me a result (a list of only 103 words/phrases), I searched for the Spanish "Zipf's list" (highest frequency words) on Google Search (to compare it with what ChatGPT gave me).

every chatgpt chat has metadata relevant to the chat. So Google knows it as it is stored in your history. I think that's the most simplest answer.
