The site, crimeresearch.org, is run by the Crime Prevention Research Center, (CPRC). The CPRC was founded by Dr. John R. Lott, Jr.

John Lott created a fake persona, "Mary Rosh", to review his own work[1]. Lott's research has been repeatedly debunked[2], and there are credible arguments that he's an academic fraud[3]

Every case in this article is backed by a citation to a mainstream news article, so we don't have to rely on guilt by association to determine its credibility.
Pretty hard to argue with this article because it's just a list of specific examples

Given that there have been hundreds of mass shootings a year, can I safely assume CCW has no real effect?
Why count only mass shootings?
Because of the CCW single gun fatal outcome incident stats.
