Hey HN, I noticed that Plaid and "Plaid for X" companies are really popular, there's always new ones in every YC batch. I've also always had this weird desire to build a web app that aggregates my TV and movie recommendations + watchlist across all my streaming services, but never followed-up on it because access to even my own data behind these services is really difficult to get because tools for credential handling, 429 avoidance and mobile/web clients don’t really exist for something like this.
So, I’m launching a Universal API IaaS platform so others (and myself) can spin up these types of apps really quickly. Honestly, if builders had access to all their data behind every service they use, I’d bet a lot of new services could be built on top and transform the internet for the better.
