Well they didn't have to call it Cortana, Alexa, Siri, or some other woman's name to get people to use and talk about it. I think the name ChatGPT will stick around for a long time, given it's the first to gain widespread recognition outside of tech circles.

Even if it's just:

A: "Have you tried Miranda yet?"

B: "What's Miranda?"

A: "It's like ChatGPT, but better"

Data would actually be a perfect name, but I don't think current technology qualifies it for a title of such power.
