"My Rig" is doing a lot of work (almost the entirety of the photos are not turntable/rx-8) and "my phone" (possibly hidden in one picture) is doing nothing (used as a computer.. even though there's at least two others pictured and that gear's worth a mint). Maybe it's just this subject. Why not link to the artist's socials like some of the other interviews? Where's the analytical part?
Modular synths are a rabbit hole one descends into like a frog boiling in water. Slowly adding modules and patching modulators into sound sources. It can be quite fascinating as the complexity increases exponentially. Some good places to start in the popular Eurorack format are:

There’s a reason why most people moved away from them though. It’s just such a pain.
I have to wonder though - modular synths were always so niche and expensive, they've never been more affordable or available than they are today. In fact they're a small fraction of what systems would cost in any previous decade, so it may be that there are more people using modular synths now than ever.

Whether they're using them for anything is maybe a different question ;)

They're great but take up space and now we have software options too. Plus $$$$
