Wonder how much of the "too much" is caused by people demanding medicine and/or diagnostics. We've all heard the stereotypical patient demanding antibiotics for a virus and the good pills for their back.
I also imagine the notion goes over well in the US where people have a hard time scheduling a visit and taking time off workm pay large sums of money to go to the doctor. And if the outcome isn't more involved than a procedure or a trip to the pharmacist, did they really just do anything useful?
