Good. Let Twitter burn. For the sake of - Elon deserves it.
Not only. There will be a tangible increase in productivity worldwide if he torches the company. Twitter is super-addictive if you use it well. For a news junkie, being plugged into the matrix of streaming events is irresistible. I have been way more productive in the last few weeks now that I am losing interest in the platform.

If myself, a Twitter addict, is turning off of it, imagine what it does to average user engagement.

> “As the adage goes, ‘you ship your org chart,’” said one current employee. “It’s chaos here right now, so we’re shipping chaos.”

That’s just such a fantastic quote.

There's this old story about an IBM VP who walked into Tom Jr.'s office expecting to be fired after a $10M mistake. Instead Tom Jr. asked why they would let someone walk after they just got a $10M education? [1]

Not sure what Musk is after here, but firing the guy who knows the most about the problem seems counterproductive.

> “This is ridiculous,” he said, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the meeting. “I have more than 100 million followers, and I’m only getting tens of thousands of impressions.”

This is a really interesting quote from presumably this Tuesday. If true, when you compare with what is shown on Musk's tweets for impressions (millions of views for recent tweets - I only checked the first few), something doesn't seem right. Either the quote is incorrect or the display is incorrect.

Make of that what you will.
