Just heard on the radio this morning that white helmets in syria who have been with the disaster since the war has waged, find this disaster to be no different than what they have been battling for years.
They have been prepared with the skill set yet have no supplies and very little manpower. Yet still the world has shed so little in attention to Syria right now. Some of that is because the roads are well destroyed. Others because rebel govts are ill equipped to handle the situation.
I'm a bit puzzled as well. I can understand the support for Turkey kinda although I don't really understand the relationship between Turkey and Israel, but I can say for certain that Israel has been bombing civilian infrastructure, such as civilian terminals in Damascus Airport.
Maybe we can keep this kind of loaded news out of HN?
