The article doesn’t cover about the growth in psychedelics. Does the UK allow psychedelics as part of religious ceremony?
Only if you are a member of the government.
Going from zero to one is infinite perfect growth.
Same phenomenon happened with Zoroastrianism in the US in the 2000s (?), growing from around 6,000 adherents to 15,000.
Can you even become a Zoroastrian? I've always heard it's a religion that doesn't allow conversions.
Interesting, I didn't know that! I always assumed it was new-age trends increasing the number. Immigration makes more sense I guess.
This is a topic of interest to me so I'm about halfway thru this video, where Mr Winkelman tries to pin down an accurate definition of shamans. He distinguises between Shamans, Clairvoyants, Mediums, Magicians, etc... I don't know if he's going off the deep end in the second half, but so far very interesting

Shamanism is not a religion by itself, but more like a practice or type of religious expression. Many past religions practiced shamanism or had shamanic rituals.
