Mozilla.social redirects to Google auth flow (accounts.google.com)

Mozilla recently announced that they’re setting something up at mozilla.social involving the fediverse.

The fact that it uses Google authentication makes me wonder if they’re making a “social deal” with Google alongside the search deal they have.
