DHS warns iPhone users to change settings over zero-day vulnerability (theepochtimes.com) 3 points by TwoFactor 3y ago ↗ HN
[–] snake_doc 3y ago ↗ Misleading title/article. There're no settings to change. Simply update to latest OS version. The DHS notice refers to the CISA notification: https://www.cisa.gov/uscert/ncas/current-activity/2023/02/14...
[–] jerlam 3y ago ↗ Epoch Times is not a credible news source.I did a search for similar news articles and found this:https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/dhs-warns-millions-ipho...In short: apply security updates that were released two days ago. If you can't, don't use Safari on Mac, but you don't have a choice for iOS/iPadOS.
