just curious, who is using swarm?
Some of our projects are. About a dozen websites and services. Basic ones that need some orchestration features without much scaling and without the k8s complexities. For everything else there's Fargate.
Good question.

- Mirantis (the new maintainers of SwarmKit) have an article on that https://www.mirantis.com/blog/kubernetes-vs-swarm-these-comp...

- A recent list is here: https://github.com/collabnix/dockerswarm#companies-using-doc...

- I sell two Swarm courses on Udemy that are purchased daily and I've noticed more questions on Swarm lately. Not a lot, but more than a few each week.

- My Discord server had enough chatter on Swarm that a few months back we made a #swarm channel and it's now a top-3 channel (12k members) https://devops.fan

How is Swarm and Docker-Compose related, if at all?
Docker stacks are essentially docker compose files with some extra Features.

Docker compose is a developer tool for use on a single computer.

Docker Swarm is a container orchestrator like Kubernetes or Nomad

Aw, I was hoping this would be some weird AwesomeWM swarm.

I'm.. not exactly sure what that would be, to be honest. Some Plan9esque networked WM?
