This is interesting. I didn't know Sequoia invested in FTX.
As the saying goes "success has a thousand fathers but failure is an orphan".
I would love to see them publicly defend SBF, or if not, talk about what they are going to do to do right by FTX customers and improve the industry in general.
I had somewhere between $0 and $30K in my FTX account (I happened to join days before this went down after Hawai'i banned Coinbase), but I don't care so much about that.
What I care about is people learn lessons. Do not build in secret. Always work toward more transparency.
They not only invested in FTX, they promoted SBF with a glowing 10,000 word article[0], allowed him to take a huge amount of secondaries, and even made him an LP in Sequoia.
