Russia has put China in a very awkward situation, not least of which so much of Chinese military hardware is based on Soviet design.
Right at the start, 1. sounds like harsh critique against the Russian invasion, demanding that they return Crimea and rest of Ukraine to their rightful owner.
"Demanding" is a strong word. It's China's position which it had since the beginning, but it's not necessarily sincere - it has to say this to not weaken its claim on Taiwan.
Ukraine had security agreement with Russia before. Russia does not care about such agreements. That is why Russia is not to be trusted. Finland neutrality was basicly based on being heavily dependant from Russia. It was not a full neutrality pakt. Why should an independent country be forced not to be able to join a military pakt it chooses? This is insane. As I wrote before, Russia does not care about any pakts, as it was braking basicly every one that it created. We all should help Ukraine to win. I personally joined this campaign https://cartodonate.com .
