Nokia has done and continues to do much more than mobile phones. What happened with the phones was unfortunate, but perhaps predictable considering how successful they were, but how short sighted they were. They started with lumber and rubber products. They make all kinds of networking equipment, modems, routers, etc... There are ~90,000 people world wide. Much of it is no longer focused on retail products, rather more B2B within the telecom industry.
