I think this one might just last
I'm feeling a new wave of JavaScript fatigue coming looking at Next.js new app dir / RSC data fetching hotness. In that light I'm quite open to looking at close to bare metal JavaScript frameworks, even though this looks more like a light wrapper around otherwise native browser js functions.
LOL :). Took my a while (I am not getting any younger), but eventually the penny did drop...
You forgot “modern”, next gen, last gen, multi-paradigm, opionated, mobile ready, desktop friendly, cloud native, local first, extensible, batteries included, serverless, server grade, enterprise, hobbyist, production grade, experimental, stable, dynamic, feature rich, minimalist, general purpose, domain specific, data centric, compute focused, lightning fast, rock solid, bulletproof, painless, consistent, available, partition tolerant, Java, Script, high, performance, computing.
You forgot blazingly fast!
Sadly, this was actually a serious point when it was written. Vanilla js really is better than, say, jQuery. But it's not really better than React/Svelte/etc.
