You do realize that downvotes and flags are applied by community members, not HN the service, don't you. Both downvoting and flagging are abilities granted to community members once they achieve some threshold of positive karma.

If you are posting things that are continually getting downvoted and/or flagged, that would indicate that you are doing things that other users believe to be problematic, and they (the other users) are trying to point out that you maybe should not be posting in that way.

I think you need to take a break and work on your mental health if getting flagged for angry flameposts is upsetting you so much.

Do people really come to HN for geopolitics?

I'm here for cool new things and have to actively try to stay away from those topics because they are massive waste of time.
