iOS/Rails Contract Work for a YC Startup (S11)

We’re a small team of passionate developers, designers, and product folks who are rethinking the way people buy and sell things locally. We're well funded (YC S11), our users love what we're building, and we do too. We're looking for either hardcore generalists or iOS or Ruby/Rails specialists, for challenging but fun project work. Which means you should:

- understand undocumented libraries and code bases in a day

- have a strong understanding of everything from optimized PostgreSQL to performance hacking UIWebViews and everything in between

- understand what it means to work in an intense startup environment

- learn quickly, we value raw intelligence pretty highly

This is project-based work but will be full time and done on site in San Francisco. The best fit will probably be someone hoping to be a technical founder some day. This won't be an easy project, but it'll be an amazing opportunity for the right person. We're an extremely driven team. Fun facts: we've got three former high school/college class presidents, and one formerly signed musician who toured the country, including Warped Tour and SXSW.
