I don't get the jump to conclusions (i.e. this entire opinion). Tesla is far ahead as the king of the EV market. Short of cracking FSD, the only news they will have is "bad news" or "no news".
They could release refreshed models. I assume some percentage of people don’t want a tesla given how common they are. A striking new body style alleviates that.
Their business model relies on small incremental changes instead of the annual production model followed by traditional automakers. Bold refreshes would cost quite a bit more; not sure the benefits would outweigh the costs.
Pricier models are less common, so customers looking to stand out always have options. Aftermarket modifications (wheels, paint etc.) are also quite common.

Also, it has a _really_ high valuation, which implies enormous growth is expected; simply puttering along at 20 centi-Volkswagens of units a year won't really cut it.
