Tell HN: I got my first open source PR after 5 months

I open sourced my project CubeDesk (like chess.com but for Rubik's cubes) about 5 months ago and, given the decent-sized user base, I expected PRs to start coming in left and right. That... did not happen.

Today, after several months of the repo getting stars and attention, I finally got a nice, useful PR. It's given me motivation to focus on the project again and hope it'll motivate others to start contributing too.

Would love some advice on how I can get more contributors and how I can be a better maintainer.
